Logistics master plan
An evolution of the market or research for operational earnings can push our customers to revise their logistic network. A study of logistic master plan is driven to put in adequacy the architecture of the logistic network (warehouses, stores, platforms, transport on sale, internal shuttle, upstream transport) with the reality of the market (development of the customer service, conquest of new markets) and the operational earnings looked for (decrease of stocks, mass transport).
Our experience in this problem led us to develop a practice supported by the modeling and the Operational Research. It gives a capacity of simulation and optimization which allows to present quantifiable and strong results facilitating the decision-making.
Our recommendations can be then retailed both in the architecture of the network and also in the functions of the various logistic levels but also in the construction of the transport planning.

Interface production-business
Supply Chain has for vocation to facilitate the information exchange between the various functions of the company, in order to guarantee a global optimization of the chain which connects the suppliers to the customers. The coordination of information exchanges between the business and the production returns within the framework of this issue of the logistic chain optimization.
In this frame, our projects aim at facilitating the communication between these functions, so that needs are produced according to the expectations of the customers. Of the implementation of an approach S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) in the improvement of the performance of the forecasts by way of flexibility research, the available tools are many and our experts look then for, with regard to the capacity of our customers to accept the change, the most adapted solution.

Warehouse
Warehouses are transformed on industrial models always into research for performance improvement. In this environment, complicated by the increase of the functions devoted to warehouses (post-manufacturing, kitting, co-packing, order preparation…), the warehouse management becomes a place of innovation where we propose services which go beyond the services of reception, storage, orders preparation and shipping’s.
It seems that the race to the added value is never so intense, when the mass-market retailing tries to reduce its stocks, where the customers look for more and more solutions capable of reducing all the costs of their Supply Chain, and where the sector of the e-commerce can constitute a growth driver. Big or small, regional or international, every provider widens more and more its offer to answer these new stakes, and our experts are there to accompany them in the research of warehousing functions optimization.

Transport RFI / RFQ
The transport is very often an important post of costs for companies. Thus transport charges are regularly studied in order to reduce them to the minimum. The cost of the transport depends on several parameters (volumetric, distance, service, frequency) which must all be studied to their just measure to buy a service from its real cost.
Our interventions on the transport functions are numerous. Our customers appeal to our experts to study the organization of the transport but also to issue a RFI or RFQ. We always watch that transport RFQ is not limited to pure valuable earnings. We grow to logic of purchase of service: what service for which price? Furthermore by our experiences in this practice we are capable of accompanying our customers of the writing of specifications in the selection of the suppliers by way of the negotiation. We also developed tools of analysis which allow to simulate for a given transport planning, the impact of the proposed pricings.
