Our History
In 1998 they are 40 something…
First they are two, then three, the team grows…they are professors from top-ranked business and engineering schools, they are engineers with degrees in management sciences, they are already practicing consultants since many years. They are French, Korean, American and they know each other for many years. They often debate their ideas and then document these ideas in publications.
They have a common vision of logistics « identified as a lever of strategic action and as a unique domain of management ».
The models, however, are far from permanent and they support their operational implementation in companies with a flair for the challenge of better performing logistics.
This force that shakes up companies is our domain. The importance of change drives us to intervene directly on a strategic, tactical and operational level.
Names always have meaning. Ours is in line with the geography and the integration of talent. Newton is a city on the periphery of Boston where one of our historical founding partner professor at the Harvard Business School lives. Vaureal is the suburban Parisian city near Cergy Pontoise where a second historical partner professor at ESSEC Business School lives. Continuing in this vein would have rendered the founding process name interminable…
It is towards Philippe Pierre Dornier that the pioneers gravitate.
The firm grows from year to year. Its geographical perimeter is expanding, with establishments abroad (Korean, the United States), significant consulting projects on the other side of the Mediterranean, strongholds in the Middle East and a presence in almost every continent.
