Supply chains are porous places, vulnerable to malicious acts: in transport chains, on storage sites<\/a>, at factory exits, during final delivery – so many places, so many moments that make flows vulnerable. Their ubiquity, the fact that a large number of operations are carried out by external third parties, the ways in which they are pooled and the widespread sharing of information make these flow chains vulnerable. <\/span><\/p>

The consequences include a deterioration in customer service, products, resources and the company’s image. Employees in the supply chain may also be exposed. <\/span><\/p>
